Problem with the System

I have a very interesting problem !
Befor I installed emacs and the dependecies of the editor the system runs normally. After the installation the SAM don´t start from X System, but from the konsole SAM starts. Also a new Problem is to add a User to the system, because he made the user, but you cannot login to the user, because there are missing files in the home directory !

I also installed openssh and TSM, but I think that is not the problem !

Have anyone an idea

Probably need a little more information here. Can I suggest that for the SAM problem you look to see if there is a .xsession-errors file in roots home directory that might give some more information. Also, you might want to check that the users have the correct permissions on their home directories. There are no files that need to be there to log in.

Did you export the DISPLAY for SAM?

Did you check the /var/sam/log/samlog for the commands executed and the results.
