Problems with console on single user mode
When I try to boot my A-CLASS server running HP-UX 11 in single user mode the keyboard of the console stops responding after the booting, however this does not happen if the machine is booted in multi-user mode.

Re: Problems with console on single user mode
Hi,
I've seen this on N and L boxes so I think the fix is the same. Edit root's .profile and add a
'stty cread' command to enable the receiver and then boot the machine. Man stty to see what this command does.
Regards, Clay

Re: Problems with console on single user mode
Hi Sayeeram,
What kind of console it is? vt200? Did you try changing keybord.
I guess that it works while you are entering boot command right? or else you couldn't bring that in single user mode.
Does it stops totally in single user or it print garbage?
Sachin
