problems with fbackup and dat72 drive
"output file /dev/rmt/2m is not a valid device file for backup"
I placed a call to HP support and so far this has stumped even the techs there. I downloaded LTT per their request and everything there seems to be in order in refernece to the firmware etc.
Has anyone else seen something like this and remember what they did to fix it? I have never seen anything like this before.
Below is output of couple commands, maybe you can see something I don't. Tape 2 is the one with problems.

Re: problems with fbackup and dat72 drive
did you try to re-install devices for your tape drive ??
maybe a dead link (once i had to re-create a link for a tape drive, even if i could seen it properly...)
and, as the others said, check patches..
