Problems with SMH
Hi everybody,
I installed on my rx2620 running HP-UX 11.23 the System Managment Homepage. I can now make a connection to http://hostname:2301, but I have no item to control of the screen (devices ...). I only found that SMH needs some plugins, as fsweb. I also installed the FileSystems-Bundle, I nhave now a item "Disks and File Systems" on the SMH-homepage, but if I click them, the following error appears :
<< Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, [no address given] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.>
I don't find any help on ITRC or HP-Site or Google, how to configure the plug-in.
Other question : can I find somewhere a bundle with all the plugins for SMH ?
Thanks you very much for your help.
Thierry

Re: Problems with SMH
Shalom,
How did you install this package?
You may wish to check the swlog installation log and look for errors because this appears to be resulting from an incomplete installation.
I think you got it here:
http://h20293.www2.hp.com/portal/swdepot/displayProductInfo.do?productNumber=SysMgmtWeb
There is documentation on setup and use on that page. Still, it looks like the install may not have completed.

Re: Problems with SMH
Hi Steven,
I installed the SHM from the Applications CD.
As described on the web page, SHM is only consolidating information from other applications on an unique homepage.
I can start this homepage, but I don't have any information. I have perhaps to install other softwares to check the system und return the informations to the SMH.
I just installed FileSystems to have fsweb, but I receive only the error maessage. SHM try to start a non-existing .php page.
My dream is to find a Software Package with all needed applications !
Thanks you for your help.
