When trying to install some software with swinstall, it throws me the following message:
sictidbp:/SD_CDROM": You do not have the required permissions to
perform this operation. Check permissions using the "swacl" command
or see your system administrator for assistance. Or, to manage
applications designed and packaged for nonprivileged mode, see the
"run_as_superuser" option in the "sd" man page.

What you need to do is the next:
/sbin/init.d/swagentd stop
/sbin/init.d/swagentd start
Tha's will restart the sw deamon.

Yup! stop 'swagentd' daemon and restart. you may install the software.
# /sbin/init.d/swagentd stop
# /sbin/init.d/swagentd start
