Programmatically find the L2/L3 cache size in HPUX
How do i programatically find the L2/L3 cache size in HPUX? I know the machinfo command that works in Itanium. But that doesnt seem to be available on PARISC counterparts.

Hi,
Proper L3 cache only on Alpha EV7 and itanium as far as I am aware, but I don't know the spec of all cpu's/manufacturers, & definately not on PArisc anyway, only L1 [on-chip]& L2 [off-chip].
Probably the easiest way is to look at the specification of the cpu/system concerned as it is not something you can change.
You could try here for the information:
