proper way to upgrade ignite/ux on ignite server
I have an hpux on 11.23 used as our ignite server on version C.7.4.157
Our HP ASC is recommending we upgrade to version C.7.6.100
Is there an HP document stating what specific files that need to get backed up on our ignite server before we upgrade to the newer version.
Just as a test I duplicated my ignite server configs (like file /var/opt/ignite/INDEX, etc) onto my hpux test server. On this test server I upgraded to the newer version and it overwrote the original /var/opt/ignite/INDEX file.
any unofficial or official pre upgrade procedures would be appreciated

Re: proper way to upgrade ignite/ux on ignite server
To find *all* Ignite bundles do:
# swlist|grep -i ignite
and then swremove them.
The following FAQ docs might of help

Remove old version, install new version.
