ps2pdf - empty page when opening with Acrobat Reader

I just installed ghostscript 7.07 on HP-UX 11.11 system (after installation of zlib 1.14 and libpng 1.2.4). PDF files generated with ps2pdf look like PDF, but upon opening with Acrobat Reader The page (or the document) is empty

Any idea what is wrong?

What version of acrobat reader for hp-ux is installed?

The other thing that springs to mind is that there is a problem with the ghostscript installation.

swverify \* if its a depot install.

If this is the first time you are using acrobat, you need to start it manually and agree to the license agreement.
