psmctd

I am having the following problem:
/opt/resmon/bin/set_fixed -L

/opt/resmon/bin/set_fixed: Cannot list resources in DOWN state due to problems accessing or reading the PSM Resource Data File /var/stm/data/psm_data.

The psmctd process is not running. I've tried uninstalling onlinediag bundle and reinstalling a newer version, and the problem persists.

This system has changed hostnames but I don't know if that has any relevance or not.

Any thoughts

UPDATE

By stopping and starting diagnostics a couple of times I got the psmctd process to start, however the /var/stm/data/psm_data file still does not exist and I'm still receiving the error message listed above.

Diagnostics may be running but EMS may not be.

Go into /etc/opt/resmon/lbin/monconfig

and see what the status is. Try stopping and restarting EMS.
