psmond not runnning

Hi,

On HP box, psmond process is dieing every day. Almost every day i have been restarting them using /sbin/init.d/predictive start

In am not able to find the root cause for that.
Is that because of ISEE?

# swlist | grep ISEE
ISEEPlatform A.03.95.021 ISEE Platform

B.11.11 U 9000/800

Can you please let me know the root cause and permanent fix for the problem?

How about looking for the root cause in the syslog.

/var/adm/syslog/syslog.log

Is your logfile get filled-up every day. Please check the parameters in /var/opt/perf/parm file. It controls many options of scopeux.

psmond is part of Predictive; I would recommend contacting HP Support to get this sorted out.
