psmond service not started after OMC Upgrade!!!
Hi,
When i upgraded my D-Class Machine, the psmond service provided by HP didn't started( it usually starts automatically) ,and /etc/services and /etc/rc.config.d/predictive files are found OK,and i found the following error in /etc/RC.log file,
Output from "/sbin/rc2.d/S744predictive start":
----------------------------
/opt/pred/bin/psmond: Error: cannot access port services for psmond. Exiting.
Check /etc/services or ensure service is configured in NIS/NIS+.
/opt/pred/bin/psmond failed with status 1
"/sbin/rc2.d/S744predictive start" FAILED
A check of /etc/services and ypcat services delivers both:
psmond 1788/udp # Hardware Predictive Monitor
psmond 1788/tcp # Predictive Monitor
Pls help me in this regard.
Rgds,
Raghavendra.
