Pthread server stack limitation

Hello,

Could you please let me know how does a stack value for a thread gets allocated ( default value )? Also, please let me know which kernel parameter is related to this stack allocations ? Is there a way to change the stack size from 64k to 256k on the server side ( using kernel parameters ) ?
