Putty & file transfer

Hi All,

We currently use Reflections over telnet to connect to our HPUX 11.11 servers. I have installed SSH on our test server & will shortly be disabling telnet. We will then use Putty. A few of out users transfer files from the Unix server to their Windows PC's using the Reflections option File, Transfer. Is it possible to allow them to transfer files fron Unix to Windows with Putty?.

Thanks,

Tim

Re: Putty & file transfer

There are additional files from Putty package - PSFTP and PSCP for file transfers.

See download page - http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/putty/download.html

Tim:

I like a free companion product that runs on Windows PCs called WinSCP. It supports FTP, SFTP and SCP:

Thanks for the replies.

I have tried the other putty packages & they work fine.

Will look at wincp later.

Many thanks, problem solved, points assigned
