Putty
I have trying to use putty , I use this program as emulator to telnet our server , but I found some function key is not work , can advise how to map the function key to specific keyboard key ( eg. ^M ) ? thx

Hi,
Have a look at different options proposed. For ^M in particular, you have an option about it in the Connexion > Telnet menu.
Terminal > Keyboard option may also be useful, as much as Window > Translation and other stuff.

you could also modify your settings on the terminal side, stty is very handy for setting key mappings.
