Looks like it might be a component of Bastille.

Bastille is a good security hardening package that actually combines several products.

Not sure about PWPlus, it could be a security software in HP-UX. Searched docs.hp.com and software.hp.com, no results.

Hi Shiva,

PWPlus is the password quality checking program, that will enforce the HP's password standards and policies. It is available for both windows and HP-Unix.

PWPlus is the tool developed by HP and used internally only to enforce their strict password formation rules. It actually is a calooection of tools, another one of which checks the passwords against a weak/crackable passwords dictionary and report to the account owners as well as security people.

If you are planning to find it for external to HP use, good luck but I don;t think you will succeed, as it was not a commercial package as of about 2 years ago.
