[Q] How can I capture screen on HPUX 11i ??

Our End-user is requesting to be able to capture his applications on HPUX 11i.

But I could not find any application to support capture function in software.hp.com site.

What application can be do this - capturing screen - on HPUX 11i.

And where can I download that application.

I found xwd, xwud application. It generated xwd format after capturing.

However, that format .xwd could not read in windows applications.

Please, let me know what application can do this or how can convert .xwd format to use in windows.

Where the end user is running the application. If it is on windows then is there some problem in using windows capture option to capture HPUx screen?

some setup require but will capture (print screen) the window required.

Hi,

try to install screencapture (or maybe now printscreen) as mentioned above.
I've copied it from a hp-ux 10.20 to 11i - no problems.
You can create TIFF, TIFF JPEG, BMP, GIF and others - very comfortable.
