[Q] What can i do to install HPUX client over subnet by igniteUX ??
I should install HPUX client by igniteUX.
The client UNIX model is j6750 and the OS version is 11.11.
I already configured igniteUX and complete to test installing Golden Image.
As i know, igniteUX cannot service over subnet. right ??
And if I want to install over subnet, I should use "boot helper" configuring each subnet. right ??
However, I don't want to use "boot helper". Just I want to be supported by network team.
I mean, if there are some configuring parameter in router for supporting igniteUX over subnet, plz..let me know what parameter in router (CISCO) I should inform to network team.
Thanks in advance

Re: [Q] What can i do to install HPUX client over subnet by igniteUX ??
I'd have the Vlan set and use it as a temporary IP and have the port set to auto.
Then I'd install from the same subnet and have the port reset...
That is much faster than jerking around with all the parameters to fix for boot helper etc. That being said, I have a IGNITE server with 4 distinct subnets represented...

The ignite server can be on multiple subnets - just make sure client is on one of them -or use a boot helper.
