Question of shared memory available value in glance
Hi,
In a two nodes cluster environment, both kernel parameters were set the same. After I changed one of the kernel parameter setting "shmmax" from 2147483648 to 4294967296 in one of the nodes, when I goto glance->table->next page: the shared memory available value is 0mb. This available value in the other node which did not make changes is 1024gb, anyone knows why ?
Rgds,
YC

Re: Question of shared memory available value in glance
There is a limit to shmmax depending on your OS, check this thread ..

and if you're running 11i check to make sure this patch is install to allow > 1GB value.
