Question to Forum admin
Y'day, I had posted a problem related to
Measureware in the HPux admin section.
I see that it has been moved to
Openview performance management, buried under
Management software, which effectively
"hides" it from the good folks who
are the regulars in the HP-ux section.
Measureware/glance is a regular tool
sitting on most of the Hpux servers.
So, shouldn't the questions on that
fall in the HPux section? and Not in
the management software( which is the
place for expert applications like ITO).
Would appreciate your response.
thanks

Re: Question to Forum admin
I'm afraid that when a posting comes in somebody must evaluate them and place them into their respective categories. Unfortunately measureware is seen as an application and not directly part of the operating system.

Re: Question to Forum admin
You have raise good question here.
We will have to wait and see what admin people says.
I will say it is application but I am agree with you that not many people go look in to other parts of forums.

Re: Question to Forum admin
only concluding from my habits, I guess that most of us
(those who answer questions - only ~2200 of 16200 last
time I counted) read both areas...
So moving it would not matter.
But I do NOT like the "This posting has been moved" note
on the "original" place - why not move it completly?
Just my?0.02,
Wodisch

Re: Question to Forum admin
So hopefully someone of the gurus under Mgmt Software will be free enough to spot your post. If they miss it, you might try tapping the post again to bring it to the top....somedays are just busier than others.
Remember, persistence pays...

Rita
