In Solaris CDE, there is a "console" program so that the output of the system and background process could be monitored. Is there such a program in HP-UX CDE? how to start it if so?
thank you

Solution
In Solaris this is nothing more than a normal shell window started with an modifier to recieve the console messages.
Of course you can do the same in HP-UX. Just start a new dtterm or hpterm with the option -C to recieve the console messages in this window.
Hope this helps.
Regards Stefan
