"Critical flaw in sendmail"?

Well, I just posted this question over in the database area. I sure those folks will really appreciate my cluttering up their area with silly (to them at least) sendmail questions...

I just read an article on MSNBC stating that a "critical flaw" had been found in send mail last December. The information was not released to the general public until sendmail developers had come up with fixes for the problem.

The question is: Does this apply to HPUX systems? Are there patches available?
