"df -k /" core dumps
B.11.00 A 9000/800
"df -i or -v" works fine, as does, "df -k" on the individual directories under root. The only thing that looks off is "df -i /usr" reports "108% i-nodes used", so I increased the ninode kernel parameter from 2048 to 10240, no apparent change. I am surprised because I thought VXFS file systems dynamically increased inodes as needed. Nothing obviously off in the logs, even after a reboot.
Any thoughts or suggestions?

Re: "df -k /" core dumps
You might check and see if you have the latest df cumulative patch installed.
The latest df patch I have on my system is PHCO_23118.
Be sure to check for dependencies when installing any patches!

Re: "df -k /" core dumps
I have just been told that this machine had other problems at the same time, apparently /bin disappeared and the link had to be recreated and when you attempt to
"su" it will also core dump.
I suspect more is going on than just the need to patch for a df problem.
