vmunix Message: Overall application performance may be improved by increasing the "eqmemsize" tunable parameter" (currently set to 15)
I am not familiar with this parm, can anyone shed some light on this. What would be a general setting on a t600 running 11.0, peoplesoft, oracle and many many instances?
Thanks,
Bob Menefee

Re: "eqmemsize"
The default eqmemsize should not be increased from its default value
of 15 unless a system failure caused by a lack of equivalently mapped
memory space occurs. If such a failure occurs and the value needs to
be increased, any increase should be based upon the I/O configuration
of the system; larger configurations require larger increases than
smaller systems.
