"sudo" user on HPUX

Hi,

I got to know that I can create sudo users on RedHat system. Can I create sudo users on a HPUX workstation as well?
I have very little info on this. Let me know if anyone has any info about sudo users.

You would have to install sudo first. You can get it here.

You certainly can! You need to install sudo first, though. You can also get it in www.sudo.org

sudo is now part of "Internet Express" for HP-UX 11i v2 from HP. It isn't supported but it is compiled for HP-UX 11i v2.

Thanx for all the solutions proposed.

Is the download and installation of "sudo" software only solution for this or is there any other way out? What I mean to say, can I have "sudo" functionality without installing it from any external source?

Only other method is to have either:

setuid programs
sharing root password

Do yourself a big favour and install sudo from one of the sources available.

You could try the looking on the latest set of application CD's to see if Internet Express is listed. I haven't seen the latest set yet.
