"The Specified Network Password is not correct"

Hi,

I get two HPUX workstations running HPUX 11.00, and several pc clients running Windows 2000 and XP. To get access to exported filesystems, we installed Nfs Interdrive Release V7.x.

Since I installed last HPUX patches on both workstations, I get the error message "
The Specified Network Password is not correct" when I try to connect a network drive using the command : net use ...... .

This trouble is present on only one workstation.
I created a new unix user unsuccessfully, I removed exported filesystmes and added it again, also unsuccessfully.

Mounting filesystems between unix workstation works fine.

I don't wish to use Samba in this case.

Any idea, thanks ?

Re: "The Specified Network Password is not correct"

Shalom,

A meaningful error message. cifsmount is submitting a password to mount the windows shares. The password has changed on the windows server or is no longer stored correctly in the script or mount command.

Fix it and all will be well.

Re: "The Specified Network Password is not correct"

This is not a windows share, but an exported unix filesystem. Passwords haven't been changed.
