Quota Warning !!

Hi All ,

I have enabled quotas in a Filesystem for a user which seems to be working fine . But the same filesystem when is NFS mounted and the user tries to write exceeding its softlimts its not giving any warning .Only after the hardlimits are reached its giving some errors Write Failed . Is there any way that I can enable in NFS mounts to get warnings when the user crosses the soft limits .

Hi Robin,

Did you export the NFS filesystems on the server with quota option enabled (-o quota), and did you mount the filesystem on the client with quota enabled?
