RAID Configration Restoration
Hi ,
I have configured RAID5 using 4si (A5856A) Controller Card in rp2470 with OS is in Separate disk with NON-RAID and Data's in RAID5.
Now OS disk got crashed and i have reinstalled OS in other disk of the same model/ID and version.
With the replaced OS it able to recogonize the RAID Configuration (irdisplay)and when i try to mount the disks after vgimporting it says unrecogonized file system.
Pls help on this to resolve.
P.S. This thread has been moved from Storage>General to HP-UX > LVM and VxVM. -HP Forum Moderator

Re: RAID Configration Restoration
You dont have to restore the configuration of RAID.You tell me how did you import the VG??weather you wgere having map file of that VG or simply you imported VG.
It looks like that vgimport is not being done properly.
