Re: RAM max size
Apart from physically checking the machine, will a shutdown for reboot then interrupt at BCH (10 seconds) to run IN ME and IN PR do the job as well? If yes, what do I need to look out for?

Re: RAM max size
echo "selclass qualifier memory;info;wait;infolog" | /usr/sbin/cstm
This will show the size of the memory modules installed. However, you may have only one memory carrier installed and I don't believe the second carrier can be identified if is installed with no RAM or simply not present.

SolutionAs mentioned, your carrier may be full and you'll have to buy another carrier or replace a lot of the RAM modules with higher capacity modules. The K-series is very old in computer years and 10.20 has been out of support since 2002, so the expense in adding another 750 megs may not provide a meaningful improvement in performance.
