Never felt the urge to uninstall, but looking at the install procedure, it's easy, because the install procedure starts with unloading the module if it's present, so if you have enough scrolback, just do what the install does at start

Donny - Does that mean your problem has been resolved?. I am surprized to see it looking for a random number generator though it didn't look for one on my 11.0 system.

If your issue is resolved with the /dev/random package as mentioned by Merijn, then he deserves a 10 as this thread may show up in search for someone else with the same problem in future and the solution would be to install the package pointed by him.

Sri,

I am not sure why it compiles now after I installed /dev/random.

yes I did run tusc on "openssl speed" and did not notice any /dev/random or /dev/unrandom being sourced

I am going to remove it and try your solution with replcaing the code to UNX95
