when i am trying as to do rcp as an oracle
user it gives the message
$ rcp abc society2:/home/oracle
remshd: Login incorrect.

i configured .rhosts file

society1 root
society1.domain root
society2 root
society2.domain root
society2 oracle
society1 oracle

Hi Sajjad

you configured .rhosts to which user home directory?
You need to set .rhosts file in oracle home directory

society1 oracle
society2 oracle

no need to set root user oracle user's home directory.

just now problem came i managed it my self
becaue there was no hosts.equiv file in my ssymte
