rdump alternative

Hola,

I wanted to rdump from an hp system to linux system using rdump command. It turns out that the dump command does not like largefile file systems.

Is there anyway I can still work around this limitation in dump?

Re: rdump alternative

If the Linux system has rmt(1M), then you can probably use fbackup/frecover on HP-UX to/from a tape drive on the Linux system. For details, see the comments about rmt in the fbackup(1M) manual page.
