This appears to be a Linux problem and you're in a HP-UX forum. GBDM = GNU Database Manager.

Since mars 20th, the latest release is available for HP-UX at :
http://hpux.connect.org.uk

If it's for HP-UX, For Linux, you can find it every where on the web...

Or from sources, you can build all the library, in this case you need a compiler+linker (gcc is very good + gmake...)
