you could look at 'mediainit' or you can place a bunch of zero's on it. It depends on how much time you wish to spend.

Hi,
you could do the following :
1.) mknod /dev/zero c 3 0x00003
2.) dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/rdsk/cxtxdx
where you have to replace the "x" with your special file
This sould erase the contents of the disk device
