RE: Legato Networker

Dear All,

I am trying to recover a file from server a to server b with Legato Networker via nwrecover. I have tried to use : /tmp but this goes to the root of the server I have nwrecover open on.

Can any one advise me how to set this up?

Thanks

Re: RE: Legato Networker

Hi,
and welcome to the forums !
Have you checked server a will process the lagato request ? Is the client daemon running on server a?

Re: RE: Legato Networker

Thank you.

I have checked nsr processes are running on the other server and that is fine. I need to recover to a different host using Legato NetWorker and am unable to!

I have tried from nwrecover tried to change client in nwrecover but this fails with the message "Unable to find or browse backups from this client.".

I have tested the recovery to the host I am running nwrecover on and this is fine.

Thanks,
Pat

Re: RE: Legato Networker

logon to hostB, start the nwadmin admin gui, save set - recover. select hostA, select the filesystem (add a more detailed path) start the recover and choose to restore to a different path.
