Hi Guys,
Can anyone advice if I want to trim the directory /var/adm/sw/product will it be possibe and what actually is inside the dircetory??

no, pls d'not touch that directory "patches are registred. something like that" if your remove later you can't remove the patches any more

consider running & man cleanup

#clenup -c2

yups don do anything wirh sw directory.
before running cleanup please take backup of your server, in case if u ever need to remoe some patches, very rare.

if cleanup -c 2 does not help.
run cleanup -c 1
it would remove all the patched which are superceded once.
man cleanup
