Re:Xvfb.
while starting xvfb it show error like this:-
# /sbin/init.d/xvfb start
PID lock file /var/run/Xvfb_10.pid exists.
Running stop script.
Checking for /var/run/Xvfb_10.pid.
Exit code: 0
Legacy Xhp server specified.
Xhp identified as /usr/bin/X11/Xhp
/usr/bin/X11/Xhp exists and is executable.
Rotating the log file /var/X11/Xserver/logs/Xvfb_10.log.
Setup mmap file directory.
Setup new pid & log files.
Remove old DISPLAY socket.
Setup the environment for perl.
Calling perl script to re-parent xinit.
Using perl: /opt/perl/bin/perl.
Xvfb server started.
User: daemon
Group: daemon
Display Number: 10
Logfile: /var/X11/Xserver/logs/Xvfb_10.log
Exit code: 0
So we need some help to edit the scripts /etc/X11/xvfb_daemon.pl and /etc/rc.config.d/xvfb.

Re: Re:Xvfb.
try
# ps -ef | grep -i xvfb
and see if it is running.

"The difference between me and you? I will read the man page." and "Respect the hat." and "You could just do a search on ITRC, you don't need to start a thread on a topic that's been answered 100 times already." Oh, and "What. no points???"
