read only filesystem is not synced properly

Hi,
I have mounted a filesystem on 2 nodes. R/W on one node and readonly on one node. The filesystem is on an lvol located on a shared storage. The problem i am facing is that the activities done from R/W node (i.e file delettion creation etc.) do not get reflected on the readonly node.
If i remount the read only file system the changes get reflected.

Please suggest any suitable mount options to solve this problem.

Pls also comment on the feasibility of such a method as i donot want to use NFS.

Thanks for your help.

Re: read only filesystem is not synced properly

You might want to try moving this to a more robust platform. Samba. HP calls it CIFS/9000.

Here is a link.

The behavior you are seeing is not what should be happening.
