Reboot after panic: Data page fault

Our HP box running 10.20, rebooted on us and the only clue we can find as to the reason why was in the shutdownlog log file is the message above. The are files in /var/adm/crash/core.0. Not sure as to what has happen and any help would be appreciated.

Your patches are out of date. Best thing to do is update your patches using a bundle, either a GR bundle or HWCR from a support cd or you can download from itrc.hp.com
Im from Palmerston North, New Zealand, but somehow ended up in London...

Re: Reboot after panic: Data page fault

Hi

To examine the crash info:-

cd /var/adm/crash/core.*
q4 .
trace event 0

Stack trace from the first crash event:

stack trace for event 0

crash event was an HPMC <- typically hardware
or

crash event was a TOC <- hang or Serviceguard TOC
or

crash event was a Panic <- typically software
