reboot error
/sbin/auto_parms [1592] /tmp/sh123.113 cannot create
/sbin/auto_parms [8] who not found
/sbin/auto_parms [17] ps not found
/sbin/auto_parms [17] grep not found
any help would be great

should explain,sorry.
/tmp is normally a link from /usr/tmp, so if /usr is not mounted, any process trying for /usr/tmp will fail.
who/ps/grep are all located in /usr/bin, so again if /usr is not mounted ....
You can check this with : "which grep"
