Receiving Mail

Hi forum,
i do not know whether it is discussed before
or not.
Normally "root" can able to receive mails when
system generate any errors
i also want to be received these kind of messages to my e-mail so
what must i do?or which files do i have to modify?

Define an alias in /etc/mail/alias file.

root : root, abc@xyz.com

Noe email for root will be received by root and email address - abc@xyz.com
OR you can prepare .forward file in root home dir and put an address there.

Do as Anil says - with the aliases - then run:

newaliases

Then restart sendmail
