Receiving network error when attempting to re-ignite client
We are currently using ignite version B.5.4.5.0 and have an ignite server that we have used successfully in the past. When attepting to re-ignite a 'vpar' client, we are receiving an error message "Network Configuration file not found". Here are the last few lines received in the client log just before the failure:
NOTE: Default (boot) source does not appear to be a valid (or complete)
install source, switching source to Network
* Setting keyboard language.
* Could not get DHCP information. No host specific network defaults
will be supplied. (dhcpclient returned: 5)
* Bringing up Network (lan0)
add net default: gateway 10.150.50.1
* NFS mounting clients directory.
* Using client directory: /var/opt/ignite/clients/0x000F203CA425
* Checking configuration for consistency...
** Network Configuration file - Not found **
The restore then fails without success. Does anyone have an idea of what may be causing this?
Thanks much,

Re: Receiving network error when attempting to re-ignite client
are client and server in the same network?
Are you using an interactive installation?

Re: Receiving network error when attempting to re-ignite client
Long shot: No change in network wiring? This version of Ignite does not permit boots off of any NIC but the built in.
Check network connectivity and that required boot processess are running on the server.

Re: Receiving network error when attempting to re-ignite client
I once had problems with a spezific hardware - what's your client hardware and which OS do you want to install?
Do you have 'ignited' this client already?
