recover file from DDS4 tape using frecover

i have RX3600 server with OS 11.31 .i am taking tape backup using fbackup.
while try to recover the file from tape to our old server i.e RP4400 with OS 11.11 i am getting error msg "not a fbackup volume;magic value is incorrect","do you wish to try to salvage theis volume".

pleas help me how to recover data from tape.

Your tape may not be an fbackup tape?
It may need to be rewound.


Dit you try to recover via sam, sometimes this (for me to unknown reason) that wil work after the command line gives this error...

fbackup created on 11.31 isn't compatible with frestore on 11.11.
I'm not sure if there is an option to change this?

This is mentioned in fbackup(1m) WARNINGS on 11.31. It also says the command is: TO BE OBSOLETED
