recover system make_tape_recovery
Hi,
A super-user done a rm * in /usr, and we lost most of files in the system. we have a recovery tape, but i never needed. Now i have to restore the system with the boot tape. The server is a rx2600 and OS hp.ux 11.23. Can you help me?
I'm in ISL menu now.

interupt boot at the 10 second prompt

You will see a sequential device listed.
Lets say its P3
bo p3
N do not interact
That will restore the contents of the make_tape_recovery tape according to how you made it. Generally thats vg00.
