recovery from an ignite backup
HPUX 11i
R390 (test server)
I ran an ignite backup last week and I want to recover it as is (no change to volume groups).
Can someone point me in the right direction?
I interrupted boot process, and went to IPL.
I found that dev P5 is my tape
I entered BO P5
and it began to boot.
It asked me all kinds of networking questions and others, I selected the Lan0 is the primary network, I set the ip and subnet.
Now I want it to go ahead and restore everything from tape.
Is there some document or steps that you can share that will point me in the right direction, please?
Thanks.

Re: recovery from an ignite backup
The PDF link did not work.
However, I cancelled this restore and went back to the menu. It appears that I had selected network restore.
I have changed it to media install and it is checking configuration for consistency.

Re: recovery from an ignite backup
It comes back with:
/var/opt/ignite/index file is empty
To add, use manage_index or use Make-config.
What does this mean?
