Recovery with Ignite Server Failed - NFS problem !!!
Hello,
I transfer my ignite server on another host.
Now I try to do recovery via network but it fails !!
Installing boot area on disk.
* Enabling swap areas.
* Backing up LVM configuration for "vg00".
* Processing the archive source (Recovery Archive).
Permission denied
NOTE: Retrying: "/sbin/fs/nfs/mount -oro
xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:/var/opt/ignite/recovery/archives/als-hpx4
/tmp/ign_configure/archive_nfs
My host has 2 lan cards :
lanadmin -x 1 :
Current Speed = 100 Full-Duplex Auto-Negotiation-ON
#ifconfig lan1
lan1: flags=843
# more /etc/exports
/var/opt/ignite/clients -anon=2
/var/opt/ignite/recovery/archives/als-hpx4 -anon=2,access=als-hpx4
Inetd.conf is OK
tftp dgram udp wait root /usr/lbin/tftpd tftpd\
/opt/ignite\
/var/opt/ignite
/etc/password is OK :
tftp:*:510:1:Trivial FTP user:/usr/tftpdir:false
I have a message in syslog.log :
tftpd[25548]: sendfile: recv: Can't assign requested address
I do not find what is the problem ? Maybe 2 lans cards on my host??
Thanks for your help.
Laurent

Re: Recovery with Ignite Server Failed - NFS problem !!!
Laurent,
when you booted over the LAN, you may have used another IP...
So edit the /etc/exports entry for the archive (just remove the access=als-hpx4)
re-run exportfs -va
check with exportfs that access is not restricted to als-hpx4
Regards,
Bernhard

Re: Recovery with Ignite Server Failed - NFS problem !!!
Thanks,
Before to do that, I checked config file of my ignite client. IP which is in config.sys was not the good address.
I do not unterstand why there is bad IP address in this file. When I try again ignite recovery after changing IP address, it works fine...
I know Client must use another IP adress for the boot but it must set its good IP address from config file during ignite process.
