SolutionIf the application is really intended for HP-UX 11.11, the requirement for the kcmodule command is a fatal bug in the application. It's more likely that the application has two versions: one for 11.11 and the other for 11.23. Maybe the customer has picked the wrong version?
The kcmodule command is dealing with loadable kernel modules, which are likely to be very OS version specific. If the application includes some kernel modules, installing the application on a HP-UX version it's not designed for is not likely to succeed.

Re: Regarding kcmodule
Maybe explain your customer his mistake, and that in hp-ux 11.11 there in no kcmodule, only in 11.23 and higher.
