Regarding Pam Module

Pam Module sending a message pam_login_limit(auth)Cannot get Password entry for user dbsnmp at regular intervals in adm/messages.
What could be the reason? Does Pam module scans at every regular interval once the account is locked? wat is dbsnmp?
