Regarding some NFS command

Can u exlpain me the fuction of Following command.

#showmount
#shoemount -a
#showmount -e

By giving some suiyable example.

man showmount

Shalom,

showmount -e

Will show you the NFS exported filesystems of the target system. use localhost for the system itself.

When used on external systems this is particularly helpful with seeing what filesystems are available for mount.
