Re: Reinstall a boot disk for a virtual partition
Hi,
Please refer to these documents
http://docs.hp.com/en/oshpux11i.html#Installing%20and%20Updating
I've done it by creating golden images on the first vpar and then use the image to install the second one
regards,
Sandy

Re: Reinstall a boot disk for a virtual partition
you have to be careful while creating Golden Image from 1st Vpar because for some reason if you do Ctrl-C then you may lose 1st vpar also since it moves network configuration files temporarly during process. You need to wait completely it says Golden Image completed.
Otherwise, if you have already taken make-net_recovery for the 1st vpar then it is easy to re-install that image on 2nd vpar. All you have to do is link 2vpar MAC address to 1st vpar image archive config on Ignite server and use 2nd vpar hostname, IP address during restore process.
