Remote Control for HP-UX

I need an application such as exeed to remote conrol my hpux servers but with a facility of capturing the full image of the servers console including any application's windows running on that server's console.

Also, regarding VNC application is it recommend it by HP or not.

Hi,

you can use "lc" (lan console)

get into GSP (press ctrl+b)
gsp> lc

assign a IP, connect n/w cable to Lan console port. you can control the m/c remotely

I am using B2000 visualized workstations model with HP-UX 11.00

So that means you have a graphical console and it is not an HP Server but a workstation ....

There are some of third party tools which can be used to get your display remotely. Logically all the Graphics cables should goto this device and this device could be accessed over TCP/IP using a VNC Server or sometihng like that !!
